YEREVAN. – Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Manasaryan held a talk, on Tuesday in Tokyo, with Vice President Masakazu Ichikawa of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). 

They discussed the technical assistance programs which the Japanese government provides to Armenia, and the prospects for the implementation of new projects.  

Next, Manasaryan met with Takeaki Matsumoto, Head of the Japan-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group, the Armenian MFA press service informs. The interlocutors reflected on the need to invigorate Armenian-Japanese parliamentary cooperation. 

Sergey Manasaryan also held a meeting with Hirotaka Ishihara, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan. They stated that the political consultations between the MFAs of Armenia and Japan are effective. Both sides also expressed their readiness to continue cooperation to further deepen Armenian-Japanese relations.
