Hrant Dink was remembered Sunday at Saint Giragos Armenian church in Diyarbakir, Turkey. 

A commemoration event was held at the church on the seventh-year anniversary of Dink’s murder, Ozelhaberler website of Turkey reports.

Famous Armenian musician Yervant Bostanci, who recently had returned to his place of birth, Diyarbakir, from the US and who participated at the aforementioned event, noted that he regrets very much that this time they are gathered in an Armenian church on a sad occasion.

Renowned Diyarbakir-Armenian writer Migirdic Margosyan also was on hand at the remembrance ceremony.

Hrant Dink, the founder and former chief editor of Agos Armenian weekly of Istanbul, was killed on January 19, 2007 in front of the weekly’s office. The ongoing trials into Dink’s murder, however, have not yet exposed those behind this assassination.
