YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 406.37/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday.

The aforementioned rate is an AMD 0.02 rise from Monday. 

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 549.74 (down by AMD 0.99), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.98 (down by AMD 0.08), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 667.26 (down by AMD 1.02), informs the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 16,406.50, AMD 265.09, and AMD 19,205.69, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 300,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 407.05/$1, and the trading session likewise closed at AMD 407.05/$1, the stock exchange informs.
