YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia will discuss, at its next session, the matter of selling—by way of an open auction—a part of the valuable items in the State Depository of Precious Stones and Metals Agency (state treasury), Haykakan Zhamanak daily reports.

“The government justifies this intention by saying their ‘keeping is unproductive.’

“The government had such an intention in the past, too, but it did not implement it due to the fall in the precious metals’ prices in the international market,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
