YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia will sell about 14,761 pieces of gold items—with a total weight of 67 kilograms—, 873 carats of adamants, 762 carats of diamonds, 102 kilograms of refined pearls, etc., which are in the state treasury, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reports.

“These items will be sold in open auction.

“The government explained the sale of these items in the treasury by the need to ‘raise the efficiency of the management of the metals and precious stones’ that are state-owned,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
