YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 407.56/$1 in Armenia on Thursday.

The aforementioned rate is an AMD 0.57 rise from Wednesday. 

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 556.07 (up by AMD 4.84), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.98 (down by AMD 0.03), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 676.63 (up by AMD 3.22), informs the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 16,261.27, AMD 260.36, and AMD 19,104.69, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 1,600,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 408.50/$1, and the trading session likewise closed at AMD 408.50/$1, the stock exchange informs.
