YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia informs that all of the country’s inter-state and inter-community roads are primarily passable as of Monday at 8:30am.
But there is fog on the Ashtarak-Talin, Goris-Kapan, Talin-Maralik, Yeraskhavan-Vedi, and Goris-Berdzor (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) motorways.
The Sotk-Karvachar Highway and some portions of Vardenyats (Selim) Mountain Pass are difficult to drive, there is thick fog, and the drivers are advised to travel solely with chained wheels.
According to the information received from Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, the Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway—which leads to the Armenian border—is open solely for passenger vehicles and for buses that seat up to thirty people, but with chained wheels.
