YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia informs that all of the country’s inter-state and inter-community roads are primarily passable as of Tuesday at 10am.  

But there is fog on the Ashtarak-Talin, Goris-Kapan, Talin-Maralik, Yeraskhavan-Vedi, and Goris-Berdzor (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) motorways.

The Sotk-Karvachar and Alagyaz- Tsaghkahovit-Artik highways, and some portions of Vardenyats (Selim) Mountain Pass are difficult to drive, there is thick fog, and the drivers are advised to travel solely with chained wheels.    

There is snowfall and rainfall around Aparan, Hrazdan, Abovyan, and Charentsavan cities.

There is ice on the Aparan-Spitak motorway.

According to the information received from Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, the Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway—which leads to the Armenian border—is open solely for passenger vehicles that seat up to thirty people, but with chained wheels.
