YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 409.03/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday.

The aforementioned rate is an AMD 0.55 rise from the previous day. 

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 559.23 (up by AMD 0.72), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.74 (down by AMD 0.11), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 678.42 (down by AMD 0.68), informs the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 16,454.71, AMD 259.33, and AMD 18,647.58, respectively.

Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 2 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 409.82/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 409.75/$1, the stock exchange informs.
