YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Ministry confirmed the reports saying an Azerbaijani family seeking asylum in Armenia.

The reports were confirmed on the official Facebook account t of the Armenian Foreign Ministry. There is no formal or semi-formal confirmation at the moment.

The Ministry’s message said additional information would be reported by relevant agencies. However, the National Security Service and State Migration Service of Armenia are silent on the matter.

As reported earlier, according to informal reports, on January 29 a five-member family from Azerbaijan asked asylum in Armenia.
