YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 408.75/$1 in Armenia on Monday.

The aforementioned rate is an AMD 0.72 rise from the previous day.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 552.18 (down by AMD 0.01), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.64 (up by AMD 0.05), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 668.39 (down by AMD 2.74), informs the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 16,440.16, AMD 253.76, and AMD 18,161.71, respectively.

Monday’s trading totaled USD 2.4 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 410/$1, and the trading session likewise closed at AMD 410/$1, the stock exchange informs.
