YEREVAN. – Customs Union will boost competition in Armenia’s economy, said chairman of Armenian State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition.
Artak Shaboyan is confident that the access to a 170-million market will help to solve problems of Armenian producers.
“Thanks to the market scale, our producers will increase production and therefore reduce the cost value,” Shaboyan said.
The State Commission has drafted a package of laws in the context of Armenia’s accession to Customs Union.
“Nevertheless, I can assure considerable changes are not required,” he added.
