YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 409.94/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday.

The aforementioned rate is an AMD 1.19 rise from Monday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 553.87 (up by AMD 1.69), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.62 (down by AMD 0.02), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 669.43 (up by AMD 1.04), informs the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 16,440.16, AMD 253.76, and AMD 18,161.71, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 10,400,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 410.46/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 410.5/$1, the stock exchange informs.
