YEREVAN. – Secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan on Wednesday received CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha and Alexander Studyonkin, the CSTO joint staff chief.

The sides discussed issues related to cooperation within CSTO, including development of military component of CTSO, creation of control system of CSTO troops as well as joint aviation forces. They touched upon the issues related to ensuring security in the Caucasus as well as implementation of the protocol signed by Baghdasaryan and Bordyuzha on December 10 in Moscow.

In particular, the sides discussed creation of a number of joint ventures in defense industry, creation of the centers on fight against drug trafficking and cyber crimes.

They discussed violation of ceasefire regime on Armenia-Azerbaijan border, noting that use of force or threat of force is unacceptable.
