YEREVAN. – Thailand’s new Ambassador to Armenia, Itti Ditbanjong (diplomatic residence in Moscow, Russia), on Monday presented the copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.

Congratulating the ambassador on his appointment, Nalbandian expressed the hope that Ditbanjong will devote his experience and knowledge to the development of Armenian-Thai relations, informs the Armenian MFA press service.

For his part, Ambassador Ditbanjong assured that he intends to take active steps to expand bilateral cooperation.

In the ensuing talk, the interlocutors discussed the avenues for invigorating the political discourse, having closer cooperation within international organizations, extending the legal and contractual framework, expanding trade and economic relations, and developing scientific, educational, and cultural ties between Armenia and Thailand.
