U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Richard Morningstar confirmed his country’s commitment to promote peaceful settlement of Karbakh conflict, Azerbaijani media reported.

Addressing the students of diplomatic academy, Ambassador said the United States are engaged in settlement of Karabakh conflict more actively than in the past. He noted the positive meeting between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan that took place in November.

The diplomat said the parties are holding talks on more concrete issues to reach solution to the conflict. Washington will do everything for the settlement of Karabakh conflict, he added.
