YEREVAN. – Protest actions against mandatory cumulative pension plan are leading to new processes and trends, says the statement issued by four non-coalition parliamentary forces.
"The protest actions staged by the staff of the Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre, South Caucasus Railways, Electric Networks of Armenia is a manifestation of decisive stance of our citizens to protect their interests,” the statement reads.
Besides, the parliamentary forces said the statement issued by the Central Bank of Armenia is unacceptable and contradicts judgment of the Constitutional Court.
The political parties have urged citizens to continue their struggle pledging full support to the movement. They are confident that the growing movement against pension reform will make the authorities come to senses and abandon the practice of violating the rights of citizens.
