YEREVAN. – I believe Naira Zohrabyan’s thoughts that President Serzh Sargsyan divides the society into “us” and “you,” or puts dividing lines, can be described as absolute demagogy. 

National Assembly Deputy (NA) Speaker and ruling Republican Party MP Hermine Naghdalyan stated the aforesaid, as she reflected on non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party NA Faction Secretary Naira Zohrabyan’s abovementioned thoughts following the President’s recent remarks.

“I believe it is clear and visible for the whole society, except for those who forget, that Serzh Sargsyan is that [political] figure whose words and deeds have always aimed at establishing solidarity within the society,” Naghdalyan stated.         
In her words, Sargsyan has commenced and has continued his tenure with the slogans and messages of love and brotherhood, and has displayed exceptional examples of cooperation and consolidation in politics.

“And speaking today about dividing lines, or segregation, is unfounded obloquy,” Hermine Naghdalyan added.
