YEREVAN. – Armenia's Ambassador to Mexico Grigor Hovhannisyan on February 14 presented  his credentials to President Enrique Pena Nieto.

During the meeting, President of Mexico welcomed the opening of Armenian embassy in Mexico City, noting this will give a new impetus to bilateral relations.

Ambassador Hovhannisyan thanked for warm reception, adding he would spare no effort into strengthening and deepening of bilateral relations, Armenian Foreign Ministry's press service reported.

The Armenian envoy met with Secretary of Foreign Affairs José Antonio Meade Kuribreña to discuss cooperation between the states.
