STEPANAKERT. – An event devoted to the 26th anniversary of the national-liberation struggle of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) took place on February 15 in Vienne, France.

The event was an initiative of the Armenian Culture House of Vienne, informs the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NKR MFA).

Chairman of the France-Karabakh Friendship Circle, MP from Loire François Rochebloine, and Circle member, Mayor of Vienne Jack Remilier introduced the Friendship Circle, and its goals and activities to the audience.

At the event, Artak Herikyan’s film entitled Our Artsakh was shown. Subsequently, the current situation in the NKR and the positive changes in the country, testifying to the stable development of Artsakh, were discussed.

Permanent Representative of the NKR to France Hovhannes Gevorgyan, Vice-Consul of Armenia in Lyon Vaner Harutyunyan, representatives from the Armenian organizations of Vienne and the region of Rhône-Alpes, and journalists and public figures attended event.
