YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 412.44/$1 in Armenia on Thursday.

The aforementioned rate is an AMD 0.25 rise from Wednesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 565.04 (down by AMD 1.64), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.53 (down by AMD 0.01), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 686.26 (down by AMD 1.15), informs the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 17,510.16, AMD 288.41, and AMD 18,882.6, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 4,700,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 413/$1, and the trading session likewise closed at AMD 413/$1, the stock exchange informs.
