Armenia's Ambassador to Egypt Armen Melkonyan met with Egyptian Civil Aviation Minister Abdel Aziz Fadel to discuss cooperation in the field of aviation as well as prospects for launching direct flights from Yerevan to Cairo.

Armen Melkonyan informed the Minister about open skies policy adopted by the Armenian government. He expressed hope that the policy would promote implementation of projects aimed at connecting the two capitals.
