The state assistance programs for the villagers will continue, the villagers will acquire seeds, fertilizers and diesel fuel at affordable prices again, and this will enable to repeat last year’s accomplishments.   

Armenian Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan stated the aforesaid during his working visit to Aragatsotn Region on Friday. 

From the abovementioned programs, Karapetyan specifically underscored the Management and Competitiveness of Agricultural Resources of Communities program. 

Subsequently, the minister presented the Agricultural Achievements gold medals to the prefects of Tatul and Aragatsotn villages, and for their good work and results in the year past.  

In the afternoon, Sergo Karapetyan visited a greenhouse in Agarak village, and got acquainted with the already ripe tomato harvest.     

During the conversation with the villagers, the minister noted that the matter of purveying the agricultural produce is at the prime minister’s focus, and discussions are held to improve the methods of purveyance.
