STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire, on the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, around 200 times between March 2 and 8.

During this time, more than 1,300 shots were fired in the direction of Armenian positions, and by way of different-caliber rifle weaponry, reports the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army data.

As a result of the retaliatory actions by the Defense Army vanguard units, however, the adversary’s “activeness” at the frontlines was quelled.
