YEREVAN. – President Serzh Sargsyan on Monday received Serbian Foreign Minister Ivan Mrkić, who is paying an official visit to Armenia.

The President underscored the high-level guest’s visit from the viewpoint of the continuation of the political discourse and the advancement of cooperation between Armenia and Serbia. He stressed that the Armenian-Serbian ties have had numerous manifestations of friendship.

Sargsyan and Mrkić highlighted the importance of high-level mutual visits. The interlocutors expressed willingness to continue to exert efforts to develop the existing positive dynamics between the two countries. They also agreed that there is a lot of unused potential to develop collaboration.

In addition, Serzh Sargsyan and Ivan Mrkić drew attention to cooperation between Armenia and Serbia following the latter’s Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Chairmanship next year.
