YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 415.21/$1 in Armenia, on Tuesday; this rate is an AMD 0.25 rise from Monday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 576.93 (up by AMD 0.38), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.36 (down by AMD 0.04), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 689.46 (down by AMD 0.41), the Central Bank of Armenia press service informed.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 18,402.02, AMD 283.27, and AMD 19,676.88, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 8,400,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 415.5/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 415.5/$1, the stock exchange informed.
