YEREVAN. – There is practically no doubt that the West-Russia crisis, which is conditioned on the Ukrainian crisis, will result in serious problems for Moscow, Zhamanak daily reported. 

“[And] it is impossible to follow all this from Armenia without an alarm.

“What should be the condition of Armenia, which is in a [Gordian] knot with Russia? How will Armenia be able to evade the aftermath of an economic slump of a country where hundreds of thousands of Armenia residents [now] live and work, securing more than 1.5 dollars in remittances [to Armenia] thus maintaining at least a minimum level of purchasing power of in Armenia.

“Armenia is unable to take steps to get loose of this knot because these steps require drastic political decisions, a will, which, however, can lead to Russia’s reaction; and this, in the case when the opposition forces in Armenia have openly offered their services to Russia in this matter,” Zhamanak writes.
