YEREVAN. – The Constitutional Court of Armenia will continue to examine the lawsuit on several provisions in the controversial Law On Funded Pensions on Monday.
The defendants, in particular, representatives of the Central Bank of Armenia, will deliver speeches on Monday.
The Constitutional Court (CC) of Armenia on Friday commenced the hearings on the lawsuit, pursuant to which several provisions in the controversial Law On Funded Pensions—in particular, its mandatory component—are contested.
Opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun MP Artsvik Minasyan, human rights activist Artak Zeynalyan, and attorney Meri Khachaturyan had filed the lawsuit.
