YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan’s resignation is just the first step in the direction of changing the quality of life in Armenian, oppositional Prosperous Armenia Party spokesperson and parliament MP Tigran Ourikhanyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The MP noted he does not have information about precise date when the Prime Minister actually submitted his resignation. At the same time, Ourikhanyan doubted PM’s statement that the resignation was submitted one month ago.

“Let us try to ponder together with you, with the public. A prime minister, who replied in a way ‘It is possible but no’, did not look as a man, who submitted his resignation,” noted Tigran Ourikhanyan.

Earlier today after a meeting of the Executive Body of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, party’s spokesperson and Parliament deputy speaker announced the resignation of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
