YEREVAN. – Secretary of Prosperous Armenia parliamentary faction Naira Zohrabyan will never agree to head the Armenian delegation to PACE, she told Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent.

“Since this position of the head of Armenian delegation to PACE remains vacant, my name will be voiced. I officially declare that it is ruled out. I will never agree to accept the post of the chief of  Armenian delegation to  PACE. I simply exclude it,” Zohrabyan said.

The MP said she is quite happy with her current role, and she feels freer in her actions.

“This is the right role and is expedient for my party,” she added.

However, Zohrabyan did not name the worthy candidate, noting that the delegation must have professionals having experience of working in international organizations. The right choice is very important now when Armenia is heading to Customs Union and will have serous problems in European agencies, Zohrabyan emphasized.

Former head of delegation Davit Harutyunyan was appointed Government Chief of Staff-Minister.
