YEREVAN. – Head of Republican Party of Armenia parliamentary group Galust Sahakyan said they had not discussed possible candidates for the post of president of the National Assembly (NA).
“Nothing has been decided yet. We will discuss the proposals during the meeting of Executive Body,” Galust Sahakyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The seat of NA president remains vacant after Hovik Abrahamyan was appointed as prime minister. The rumored candidates to replace Abrahamyan are Galust Sahakyan and Karen Karapetyan.
