Liturgy in memory of Armenian Genocide victims held at Notre Dame Cathedral in P

An Armenian Genocide commemoration event was held on April 27 at the famous Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.   

Bishop Michel Aupetit, the auxiliary bishop of Paris, performed a prayer of remembrance preceding the Divine Liturgy.  

Subsequently, an Armenian rite liturgy was offered. 

Numerous people, including Armenia’s Ambassador to France Vicken Tchitechian, attended the ceremony that was held at hall of the main cathedral of France.  

Prior to the mass, Tchitechian toured an Armenian Genocide exhibition at the square of the Notre Dame Cathedral.
