STEPANAKERT. – Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh Republic) Republic President Bako Sahakyan signed decrees on awarding medals for bravery shown in combat, president’s press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In connection with the 20th anniversary of liberating the Talish village in the Martakert region of Nagorno Karabakh Republic and for personal bravery shown in combat actions defending the Motherland the For Service in Battle medal was awarded to the following freedom fighters: Zaven Khalapyan (posthumously), Andranik Sedrakyan, and Shahen Ohanyan (posthumously). Also, Boris Saghatelyan (Republic of Belarus) was decorated with the Vachagan Barepasht medal for constant support shown to the Talish village.
