Forty-two people have been killed and 125 others are hospitalized as a result of the clashes and the trade union building fire in Odessa, informed the Internal Affairs Ministry of Ukraine.
“There are 21 police officers among the affected,” the ministry added.
Three-day mourning has been declared in Odessa, in connection with the tragic events that occurred in the city on Friday.
The state flags of Ukraine and Odessa will fly at half-staff on the city’s public utility buildings, institutions, and organizations.
In addition, it was notified that the use of music and the holding of entertainment events be reduced.
