YEREVAN. – U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern called Cher to visit Armenia again.

Talking to the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent, Ambassador Heffern said he loves Cher and her songs.
His comment came after he posted Cher's photo and tweeted: “Cher, come visit Armenia again!”

Cher (Cherilyn Sarkisian) visited Yerevan when the Karabakh war broke out. In one of her interviews, the American singer and actress said she felt  herself an Armenian after visiting the country.

Telling about her visit to Armenia, Cher also said that the aircraft delivered humanitarian aid to people.

“It was awesome that I came to Armenia and could help people,” she emphasized.
