YEREVAN. – Former Armenian PM Hrant Bagratyan said it is not clear where the government got money to implement the budget for 2013.

During the parliamentary hearings on Wednesday, Bagratyan recalled that economic growth made only 3.5 percent instead of projected 6.2 percent last year. Taking into account these figures, it is unclear how the budget could be implemented for 99.8 percent as reported by the government, he said.

“Where did you get money if economic growth was slower than expected? Whom have you pressured?” he wonders.

The MP explained that only the amount is predicted in plan on budget revenues, while the types of taxes are not mentioned. Therefore, the business cannot understand which taxes will become tougher next year, he emphasized.

Armenia's budget revenues in 2013 amounted to 1 trillion. 71.4 billion drams or 99.8% of the planned budget.
