YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 409.00/$1 in Armenia on Monday, a 0.54-point fall from as compared with last week.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 555.26 (down by AMD 1.71), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.31 (up by AMD 0.02), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 695.95 (down by AMD 2.36), the Central Bank of Armenia press service informed.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 17,258.92, AMD 262.55, and AMD 19,145.9 , respectively.

The sales totaled $4 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 408.5/$1.409/$1.
