YEREVAN. – The Deputy Chief of the Armenian Police, Lieutenant-General Hunan Poghosyan received member of Hawaii Senate Suzanne Chun Oakland.

During the meeting, work performed in the framework of ongoing reforms in police system was presented.

Hunan Poghosyan briefed the guest on activities aimed at preventing crimes by minors, presented statistics highlighting the declining trend in this type of crime compared to the same period last year.

Mrs. Oakland, for her turn, briefly presented  the current U.S. system of juvenile justice.
