YEREVAN. – From now on one of the ministers will visit border villages every month, PM Hovik Abrahamyan said during his trip to Tavush Region.

Abrahamyan promised journalists to be consistent in organizing ministers' visits. He said the Cabinet should draw more attention to the border villages to stop migration. 

“We should do our best. Even if the number of school children reduces, we should provide funding to preserve the school. These villages are protecting the border. If a person is sleeping with a thought that he may be targeted by adversary’s fire, he is a border guard,” Prime Minister emphasized.

As reported earlier, on Saturday Prime Minister toured the villages on border between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Tavush Region. He was accompanied by the the ministers of transport, agriculture, social affairs, finance, deputy PM and Tavush governor.
