Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Russia and Serbia are ready to sign an agreement on South Steam.
For his part Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic confirmed that only technical issues remain on South Stream, and they are being resolved promptly, ITAR-TASS reported.
Medvedev noted South Stream is a priority project, adding it is especially significant in the context of Ukrainian crisis. Russian PM hopes the signing of a deal will help ensure reliability of Russian gas supplies to European consumers.
