YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 407.69/$1 in Armenia on Friday, and this makes for an AMD 0.17 rise from Thursday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 554.66 (down by AMD 0.55), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.95 (down by AMD 0.01), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 698.82 (up by AMD 1.15), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 17,567.38, AMD 281.81, and AMD 19,818.6, respectively.
The NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, however, saw no foreign currency trading on Friday.
