YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Monday visited the French Embassy in Yerevan on the occasion of Bastille Day.
President congratulated Ambassador Henri Reynaud and embassy staff.
Serzh Sargsyan sent a message to his French counterpart Francois Hollande noting that he warmly remembers his latest trip to Armenia that gave new impetus to the high-level dialogue and consequent strengthening of ties between two nations.
The Armenian leader expressed confidence that implementation of arrangements reached during the visit will contribute to cooperation development in trade and economy areas.
“I believe that in both bilateral and multilateral formats, including within the European institutions, cooperation will continue to strengthen for the benefit of prosperity of our peoples,” he said.
The President also thanked France for an important mission in the OSCE Minsk Group, contributing to the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and establishment of peace and stability.
