Hrachya Harutyunyan, a citizen of Armenia accused of a car accident claiming 18 lives, will make final speech in Moscow court on Monday.
According to Ekho Moskvy, after his speech the court retired to deliberations room to pass sentence. The verdict can be known on August 4. Earlier, the prosecutor demanded a sentence of seven years in jail for Harutyunyan.
An Armenian truck driver pleaded guilty in a car accident that occurred in Russia last July. A truck crashed into a passenger bus on July 13, 2013 outside Moscow. The impact of the crash was so powerful that the bus had split in two. The accident claimed eighteen lives and injured forty others.
