President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev discussed measures to prevent unauthorised supplies of banned goods in a phone conversation on Wednesday.

“The presidents discussed cooperation matters in the context of the Eurasian Economic Union’s establishment, including coordinating measures to prevent unauthorised supplies to Russia via Kazakhstan and Belarus of goods from countries that have come under recent Russian Government sanctions," Kremlin said in a statement.

Russia has imposed a year-long ban on imports of a number of goods from EU, Canada, Australia and Norway. The list includes beef, pork, fruits and vegetables, cheese, dairy products, poultry, nuts and other products.
