YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s (USD) exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 410.17/$1 in Armenia on Thursday, and this makes for an AMD 1.15 drop from Wednesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 548.73 (down by AMD 0.59), that of one British pound was AMD 684.25 (down by AMD 3.97), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.39 (up by AMD 0.05), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 262.43, AMD 17,301.7, and AMD 19,398.47 respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 1,240,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 408.9/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 409/$1.
