YEREVAN. – Heritage party will hold a political forum to discuss the need for constitutional reforms in Armenia, head of faction Ruben Hakobyan told reporters.
All the interested parties will have a chance to participate in the debates to be held on September 15-20, he added.
“In the current situation constitutional reform is unacceptable. The leadership's decision to initiate constitutional reforms was inexpedient given foreign and internal political situation,” Hakobyan emphasized.
The head of Heritage faction confirmed that the parliamentary four plans to hold a rally in Yerevan on September 30 depending on government's response to 12 demands presented by the opposition.
The deadline for submitting concept on constitutional reform has been postponed from July 1 to October 15 under the decree by Serzh Sargsyan.
