UK Ambassador to Armenia Katherine Leach welcomed Turkey's decision to invite representative of Armenia to inauguration ceremony of Turkey's president.
“Glad Turkey invited and Armenia accepted,” Ambassador Leach tweeted and posted a photo of Edward Nalbandian during a ceremony in Ankara.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan was sworn in as president of Turkey during an official ceremony on Thursday. Armenia was represented by Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
