Today, Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze, Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos and EU Commissioner for Home Affairs Cecilia Malmstrom signed visa facilitation agreement in Brussels.

The agreement provides for simplification of documentary evidence to be submitted in support of the visa application and reducing visa fees to €35 for all citizens, EU website reads.

“The agreement is part of a more long-term work to remove the visa requirements fully for Georgian citizens in the future,” said Cecilia Malmstrom.
