The tremor was recorded at 10:03pm local time, 19 km southeast of Jalilabad Region, ANS PRESS news agency of Azerbaijan reported citing the Meteorological Service of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
The quake measured 3.1 magnitude and its hypocenter was 36 km beneath the surface.
And on Saturday, a 4-magnitude seismic activity was recorded in the country’s Zardab Region.
