YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s (USD) exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 410.73/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday, and this makes for an AMD 0.56 drop from Tuesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 539.86 (up by AMD 0.58), that of one British pound was AMD 676.80 (down by AMD 2.94), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.11 (up by AMD 0.11), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 253.54, AMD 16,731.08, and AMD 18,645.85, respectively.

Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 3,100,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 410.47/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 410.5/$1.
